Hua Zhou
Principal
Assistant Zhou graduated from California State University with a degree in health science management. Her children have been studying at Green Grass Education for seven years. As a parent, she is familiar with various classes and activities at the school and loved them deeply. Assistant Zhou used to be a nurse in a well-known hospital in Shanghai. This made her a very caring, friendly, and communicative person. In addition, she is also a professional athlete who has practiced track and field for 8 years. She displays a personality that is charismatic and uplifting. This attitude is present in her work, life, hobbies, and everyday interactions. Zhou has continued to spread this kind of sportsmanship at Green Grass Education.
Xuehua Wu
Instructor
Instructor Wu has been teaching at Green Grass Education since the establishment of the school. She has taught Chinese classes for grades 1-2 for many years and has accumulated a wealth of experience with lower grade students as a result. Instructor Wu has a gentle, dignified, and generous personality, which is carried on to students in her classes.
Cara Sun
Instructor
Instructor Sun has received her bachelor’s degree from California College of the Arts with a major in Jewelry/Metal art. Currently, she is obtaining her master’s degree in web design and new media at the Academy of Arts University. She has worked as a jewelry-making instructor and studio manager while she was in school. After graduating, she received the diamond appraisal from the Gemological Institute of America and held a sales position at a jewelry company. These experiences have resulted in the excellent communication skills that she employs in the classroom. After numerous experiences, she realized her favorite work is spreading professional knowledge to students and helping them to be more passionate people in life.
Xiaohan Liu
Instructor
Instructor Liu graduated from university in Toronto with a major in finance and economics. She has been nurtured by her educational family since she was a child. After coming to the US, she has been teaching in the tutoring center on weekends while taking care of her own children. Teacher Liu is very gentle and entertaining. She has won the Outstanding Teacher Award of the 41st Northern California Chinese Schools Association. Liu understands how important it is to be loving, patient, and careful with her students and strives to help them reach their educational goals. Green Grass is a symbol of hope and Liu hopes to learn and grow together with her students and help them have a beautiful future.
Zhang Yin
Instructor
Instructor Zhang graduated from the University of Washington with a master's degree in education. She has many years of teaching experience, including working as the headteacher in a high-ranked high school in China. She likes to learn and develop alongside her students. In her spare time, she enjoys sports and meeting new challenges such as ski diving, photography, recording daily life, and natural beauty. Zhang hopes to continue studying and enjoy life with students together!

Ran Liu
Instructor
Instructor Liu is an assistant teacher of grade K. She has been working in Green Grass Education for many years. She is very caring, meticulous, and patient when teaching K-grade children. She guides K-grade students in various cultural and sporting activities. Instructor Liu is loved by children and respected by parents. She has made great contributions to the growth of all of the K-grade children in Green Grass Education.
Huilan Shi
Instructor
Instructor Shi graduated from the English Department of Shanghai Normal University. She has served as a middle school English teacher for many years and was rated as an excellent instructor. She has been teaching Green Grass Education as a senior instructor for more than ten years. Instructor Shi implements a serious and methodical teaching pedagogy. Additionally, she often buys a variety of small gifts for her students at her own expense in order to encourage positivity. She mainly teaches mathematics for grades 1-2. She is not only loved by students but parents as well.
